How to unlock iPhone for use with a different carrier

By unlocking your iPhone, you can use it with a different carrier.
iPhone may be locked for your carrier. By unlocking your iPhone, you can use it with a different carrier. To contact your carrier and unlock iPhone, use the following steps.

Contact the operator
Only your carrier can unlock iPhone. Call your carrier and ask for an unlock. Your account may have to meet unlocking requirements. After submitting the request, it may take several days for the process to complete. Contact the operator to check the status of your unlock request.
